#DAILYTHOUGHT: THE CHALLENGE WITHIN

"What am i here for?" is the same question i kept asking myself ever since i graduated from the world of the academe and became an official student of the society. With only a blurred vision of where I am going, more question began to pop which only gave me more reason to think and delay things further, hoping that good things will come to those who wait (and do nothing). However, only to wake up in the morning of the 24th year celebration of my existence with thoughts that i have made no significant contribution and gained nothing more than regrets that i realized that i can not anymore delay the inevitable; that i something has to be done. Hence, #ChallengeYourself project came into being. 

#ChallengeYourself is a personal project is a 3 year plan program that i have started this year with the following objective:

1. To develop a sustainable system that will increase, motivate and monitor my personal journey of growth.
2. To Strengthen my personal fundamentals and core values of my personal being through short term and long term challenge projects.
3. To inspire positivism and action among my current and future circle of influence on the thoughts and learning's of this 3 year life changing journey of growth.

And below, are the five key fundamentals subject for this program. With each having a component of its own, I have pointed out the specific measurements for my growth and development

Christian life has never been an easy road especially for me who is in constant struggle with the challenges in this life. But it's humbling to see how the sovereign and faithful plan of the Lord is slowly raising its curtain in front of me. 

One these significant milestones was when i formally devote myself into the development of the Kids Ministry that I've began handling a class. It was a fun and humbling experience for me to be used by the Lord as his instrument to these kids. And it's just amazing to see and hear the big heart that they have and how they are very much willing to share the story of their walk with the lord with me.

Experiences that I am very much willing to take further in my deeper walk with the Lord by committing myself on the following:  

• To religiously account and journal my daily spiritual devotions and learning.
• To impart a one specific spiritual learning every Sunday School
• To Invest my life in the spiritual development to one or more individuals

It was through this path of life that  I was blessed to discover individuals that later on became part of my life; groups of people that made a great significant difference in my being and me to them as well.  These are the kind of relationships where shared visions is our great motivator, and shared values is our sustain-or. And throughout the ever changing season of life, we all stayed and grew up together

However due to familiarity and comfortability, these great bond of relationship is slowly loosing its grip as life's growing demand for attention and time is making is way into the center of our priorities. A Sad truth that i realized when a number of my relationships are slowly leaving elsewhere for good. 

And with that, this will be my personal commitment in this project:

• To constantly identify, develop and monitor my value as a contributor in a relationship
• To invest more effort in the development of my relationship with my Family.
• To provide significant additional value around the people of my influence.

My search for my true calling can be consider as one of my greatest expedition in life. For  I grew up constantly involving myself on the different fields that interest me, only to realized later on that i was meant to do something else.

The journey to that discovery lead me to various environments and industries. A painstaking experience that has greatly thought me of priceless lessons in life. And now that as the curtain of my destination is slowly being revealed to me I personally would like to commit myself in the development of this area of my life through the following:

• To Invest in my career development through constant learning and monitoring
• To work harder and smarter in each and every day. 
• To become a person of influence and inspiration for others.

With great body comes great responsibility. 

Words of wisdom that are easier said than done, especially for someone like me where eating a lot becomes an oxygen that i can not live without. And then again whenever i see myself looking in front of the mirror that i paused and think if this is the kind of lifestyle that i want to live throughout the rest of my life?

The same reason why i believe taking this challenge will seriously help ensure my commitment on the following:

• To make the choice of living a healthy lifestyle everyday.
• To develop a passion for individual and team sports 
• To become an inspiration and model for others to follow.

People, Art and Culture are just some of the things that make me "ME". Subjects of life that i can never be separated from my identify as a human being an as an active citizen of this beautiful country.

The same reason that the Kathangisip Creatives brand was created. My passport that allows me to be in my free and creative self, away from all the hassle and bustle of my everyday living.

Also, this same passion led me into becoming part of Gawad Kalinga, a nation building organization that allows me to turn my frustrations in this country into actual acts of kindness to people.

And recently, i was able to be part of Sketch Party PH, a sketch group that makes use pads and pencils as a way of bringing people to the basic way of having fun and making new friends

And through it that i am committing myself into the development of the following:

• To identify the core essence and strength the presence of Kathangisip Brand 
• To actively involve myself in the organizations that will develop my passion 
• To create outputs that will promote active participation and positivism to people.

And in by doing so that i do recognize that only my faith and in the Lord that everything of these things will happen in his perfect timing in my life.

THE CRAZY ONE

This is a story of a young man's journey from the beautiful country of the Philippines who is crazy enough to think that he can spark change through this journal.

This is his personal vision of creating a library of everyday experiences, personal devotions and life thoughts; a mission to bring out the remarkable stories behind the daily moments in life that we all share.

This is not about one's life story but rather a story about life. This is his journey; our share of stories.
